How is the course administered?
The course is conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams, accommodating 6 participants per session. It is designed to simulate the RCGP SCA exam format closely.
Course Format:
12 clinical cases will be covered, each lasting 12 minutes, followed by structured verbal feedback and group discussion.
Each participant will consult on 2 cases as the clinician and observe 10 cases as a peer.
Feedback will be aligned with the RCGP SCA Toolkit.
Technology Requirements:
Participants must have access to the latest version of Microsoft Teams.
A working camera and microphone are required.
A stable internet connection and audio-visual capability are essential.
Participant Rules:
Recording or distribution of any part of the session is strictly prohibited.
No interruptions are allowed during consultations.
During consultations:
Only the active Participant (clinician) and the Role Player should have their camera and microphone ON.
All other Participants must have camera and microphone OFF.
Respectful and professional conduct is expected at all times.
